Subject: [SOLVED] Template only for special pagenames
Hi,

I'm searching for a possibility to use a template that only works for new created pages that the name begins with for example inc-page-*.txt

Exist there any plugins that can do that job?

Kind regards,
Roland

The Regex_template plugin probably meets your objective, but is rather outdated:

The LoadSkin plugin can change the template per page or per namespace.

@Michaelsy
I think, that Plugin does the Job, but it doesn't work in my dokuwiki (Release 2018-04-22a "Greebo). When I installed the Plugin, dokuwiki complain, that the Name of the Plugin is not valid. (because it use a underline char). Furthermore the PHP Code must be modified (that's not a problem, I changed the code but it also doesn't work).

@ach
this Plugin is for the Skin (Template), and that is not what I was searching for. Michaelsy hint was the right, but thank you also.

Perhaps anybody here who can help me further?

Kind regards,
Roland

Are you sure? Or I don't understand your statement. The only thing where differ both plugins is in which way (by which kind of rules) they assign templates to the appropriate wiki pages. Edit: No, I was wrong.

No, I'm not sure, because my english isn't very well. I'm german speaking (from switzerland), sorry!

Thank you for your explanation. I would give that Plugin a new try. I didn't read exactly and what's more sad, i didn't understand it enough.

Thanks for the hint.

Kind regards,
Roland

I'ved tried but haven't no luck :-(

I could not specified my own template (like the  _template.txt or __template.txt). I only could select preinstalled Skin templates (like bootstrap3, dokubootstrapsimplified or dokuwiki)  but this is not what I want.

Michaelsy, can you explain me, how I have to use this Plugin so that I can use my own template (like _template.txt) for a specified pages (in my case for pages who's Name begins like inc-cli-*.txt)???

Kind regards,
Roland

I didn't realise that you are the author of that Plugin (loadskin),  sorry :blush:

Please, can you tell me, if that Plugin would do what I wish?

Kind regards,
Roland

Please open a new thread in the german forum. Ach speaks German too. And I prefer to write in German like you.

I think there are some things to clarify.
