Subject: [closed] Inline formatting in headings
I would like to be able to include the name of a boat in a heading, but am having problems with italics.  I searched the fora and threads from 10+ years ago indicated that it is impossible - is this still the case?

Examples:

//====== Lulu II ======//   ->   ====== Lulu II ======

====== //Lulu II// ======   -> //Lulu II//

When what is required is Lulu II

It still does not work with a standard DokuWiki. There is a header2 plugin but installing it broke my wiki (blank screen). It is rather old and seems to be incompatible to current DokuWiki versions.

Thanks both for the information.  As I mentioned, I did search the fora, but only found the old threads.  The FAQ looks like a way forward.  I'll mark this thread as closed since you've confirmed that there's no direct solution.
