Subject: Use Request Headers to Authenticate and Authorice Users
Hej!

We recently installed dokuwiki in our organisation. We have a SSO allowing to use special headers for authentication and authorization.
There is this plugin "authremoteuser" that allows authentication against Request Headers. In our organisation we further use

- HTTP_X_AUTH_USERID for username
- HTTP_X_AUTH_USERMAIL for email address
- HTTP_X_AUTH_USERGROUPS for user groups
- HTTP_X_AUTH_CN for Full Name

Right now I changed all occurences (in the dokuwiki-root) of "REMOTE_USER" and changed it to "HTTP_X_AUTH_USERID". It would be nice to import all data from our SSO to the dokuwiki (Full Name, Email-Address, User Groups). How can I do that.

It has to be this headers since they are used for other applications too!

Kind Regards,
Jürgen

Create an auth plugin.
