Dear all
I just set up an wiki for our team at work. I wonder if someone can tell me some best practises using dokuwiki?
I know the "good style" dokument provided here at splitbrain.org. We also use namespaces for bigger subjects to have a better overview about uploaded files (just only these stored in the same namespaces are displayed in media manager, of course, others can be selected too).
Open questions at the moment are:
- When to split a document in different pages. That is to avoid having many page locks as dokuwiki unfortunately does not know section locking. Other issue to split documents can be to have pages short and less scrollable (according to internet usability good Nielsen).
- The use of samba to get upload of files more easy (afterwards, you put {{image}} at the place you wanna have the new file to be appeared).
Thanks for your input! Casi
