jemostrom Newbie warning on this question, this might be obvious to all of you. Is it possible to have a "section" (namespace) on a wiki which isn't searchable? What I want to do is to be able to create documents that are only reachable by getting the URL to the page, example say that the wiki is available at example.com/dw The whole wiki is publicly readable, then there is one section/namespace that contains a couple of documents that shouldn't be easily be found. example.com/dw/bigsecret/docA example.com/dw/bigsecret/docB I don't want these to pages to be searchable, that is if someone go to example.com/dw, search for "monkey" and despite that docA & docB both contains "monkey" they shouldn't be listed. Is it possible to configure DokuWiki to do this?
lpaulsen93 Maybe the nssearch plugin is something for you, look at https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:nssearch. The standard DokuWiki seems to only have an option to limit the namespace search depth, see https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:search_nslimit.
andi The hidepages option should hide them from search and other listings. However if you want to properly secure those pages, you need to use ACLs.
jemostrom Thanks, hidepages works fine for me. (I don't want to require a password etc for viewing these pages just prevent the "obvious" ways of finding them)
