Subject: Activate admin page/ACL Enabling after install
Howdy,

IRC obviously isn't the way to ask questions, pretty quiet over there.
I installed dokuwiki a while ago without ACLs, but now I wanted to install a few plugins and found out I need ACLs to enable the admin page. So I went into dokuwiki.php and changed useacl to 1, checked the FAQ again and added the "deleteme" user, but still there is no working ACL configuration. Do I need to create an acl.auth.php or am I missing an obvious way to alter the setting?

Cheers,
skazy

$conf(useacl) is probably still set to 0 in conf/local.php.  Set it to 1 in that file.

Ok, initially I did that in dokuwiki.php; now I reverted that and made an appropriate local.php, but still:
No ACL setup yet! Denying access to everyone.

What is needed for a working ACL setup?
Thanks & regards,
skazy
