Subject: Import Libre-/OpenOffice
I'm fairly new to Dokuwiki but I've spent a good deal of time looking for an answer online and in this forum, and although - to me - it seems like a natural fit, I don't find a way to do what I want.

I have a large spreadsheet (currently in Excel, but could easily be converted to OO).  I am able to convert it to a DW table and even have  tableedit plugin installed which works nicely... but gets a bit awkward with large amounts of text.

I'd like to be able to access/edit an OpenOffice sheet outside of DW but display it (in an iframe as an example) in a DW page.  I've not been able to find a way to do that.

Ideally, it would be GREAT to be able to open OO in a frame within DW, and be able to access AND edit an OO sheet or other document right in the DW page.

Does anything exist?  Am I missing something?

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

You're trying to cross boundaries between a desktop and a web application there which is usually not possible. You might be able to achieve what you want with Google Sheets or a similar Online Spreadsheet.

I understand what you're saying however, my question came about because in other work I use NextCloud which integrates LibreOffice Online very nicely. All web based. So, I had hoped to find a way do do the same in DokuWiki.

Basically, you can embed the output (the HTML pages) of each web application via iframes in DokuWiki.

Thank you.  I had attempted that but failed.  I'll give that another go. It might accomplish what I want!
