Subject: Sidebar DropDown Menu plugin: IndexMenu & bootstrap3 template
Hi,

i have the latest dokuwiki running with bootstrap3 template. Somehow i cannot find any documentation how to create dropdown menu without the understcores.

https://docs.selfcomposer.com/templating/doku.php?id=start

There is not a single example anywhere. I spend almost a week searching and trying.

Hello,

have a look at the indexmenu plugin, see https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:indexmenu.

Thanks for the response

I did but somehow i cannot figure out the syntax how to use. None of the example syntax works.

{{indexmenu>:wiki:plugins#2|nons}}
{{indexmenu>:archive#1|js tsort nsort rsort}}

For example. I just want to have the following menu on the sidebar.

-Main Menu
  --Sub Menu 1
  --Sub Menu 2
-Main Menu(2)
  --Sub Menu1

I was able to get the sub menu showing correctly but not he main menu nami. Especially the main menu appears like this

-main_menu
  --Sub Menu 1
  --Sub Menu 2
-main_menu(2)
  --Sub Menu1

Namespaces are all created but they appear as underscore and with wiki, syntac and sidebar etc

Like have no underscores, font color, type and size.

There is an option in the configuration-page of dokuwiki. Something like "first header to be taken as page name".

I just looked. It is "useheading". We use this option: our pages are just named "0345", but they appear in the index as "345 Project tsgill-support" because the first header within thin page shows these text.

Later: I just checked your website. Probably you already use that option :-)
