Subject: [Solved] How to "completely" remove external link icons?
I managed to disable the external link icons (in front of outbound links) by editing the CSS file, but the minor issue is that this practice leaves a black space in front of those links.

It does not look neat and normal.

So, how can I remove that blank space?

I use this in /conf/userstyle.css:

  1. .dokuwiki a.urlextern,
  2. .dokuwiki a.interwiki,
  3. .dokuwiki a.windows,
  4. .dokuwiki a.mail {
  5.     background-image: none !important;
  6.     padding-left: 0 !important;
  7. }
