I have a specifical problem with my big site for comics translation (70,000+ articles, yeah). I want to use the server's cache, but the site doesn't update links immediately from red to green after I make a new page. Only when I set "cachetime" to -1 (off mode) its all okay.
Here is our navi with a color marking of next page accessibility when the server's "cachetime" set to 0. [[0646]] already exists and must be colored in green.
After some brainstorming, I decided to
attach local touching of the referrer page's cache to the editor's Save button. It is assumed that the navi's red link is already equipped with the ?do=edit parameter for direct editor calling and I'll not have to catch the referrer's referrer.
But I don't know PHP at the proper level to attach the desired request to the Save button. Only know
$var = getenv("HTTP_REFERER");
from Touch Plugin and
this purge function from Wikistats plugin
