Hi There,
I'm hopping you can help me fix my AD Auth access issue i'm having.
I've recently moved my dokuwiki from one server to another from RHEL 5.11 to RHEL 7.11 the original wiki version is 2012-10-13 "Adora Belle" the new version is 2018-04-22b "Greebo". I did this by installing the new version and copying the files from the original server.
The original wiki has a login page that you have to type your windows AD username and password to authenticate to access the wiki but on the new server this is not working. The new server you type the url / IP and you access the wiki page straight away there is no authentication page. There is a login button on the new server and I get a login page but I just get "Sorry, username or password was wrong."
Can Anyone point me in the right direction what I'm doing wrong the conf files are the same as the original server.
Thanks for your help (Sorry for the first login post)

I had the same problem just a few days ago when I moved to CentOS.
After I searched for hours and days what the problem was, I found the solution:
SELinux was preventing apache to connect to the Active Directory on another server. To allow this behaviour, type
sudo setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect

Thanks cziehr.
But the SELinux is disabled by default

Fixed the issue it was the local.protected.php config file.
The parameters are slightly different on the two version "Adora Belle" "Greebo"
I just copied the config file from the old version and put is on the new version and I didn't notice the differences
Old local.protected.php file
// configure your Active Directory data here
$conf['auth']['ad']['account_suffix']
$conf['auth']['ad']['base_dn']
$conf['auth']['ad']['domain_controllers']
New local.protected.php File
$conf['plugin']['authad']['account_suffix']
$conf['plugin']['authad']['base_dn']
$conf['plugin']['authad']['domain_controllers']

Thanks McQ101. The issue was resolved.
