Hello,
I hope my question fits in this forum. I have a dokuwiki installed with phpbb authentication. The session timeout set in the phpbb config is, say, 1hr. Several pages running only for auth users include forms entirely managed by ajax requests to the same server. So if the page is not reloaded, ajax requests don't know that timeout could have occurred. Currently, every ajax request checks that the pbpbb cookie which contains the user id is still pointing on the logged user. This is a only a minimal control.
How to manage the ajax requests coherently with dokuwiki ? Meaning : doing exactly the same processes as dokuwiki, namely:
- check if the user is still logged,
- update the expiration date of the phpbb cookies,
- if logged out, redirect to the login page.
Looking at files in the inc directory doesn't give me any practical clue. Ideally, using the same scripts, with minimal adaptation to run outside dokuwiki, would be the preferred solution.
Thank you for your help. GL
