Thanks Pop and Michael - your suggestions gave me what I needed to add the "Ballot Box" to my table- yay! I was having trouble typing the appropriate number combination on my numeric keypad, but Copying/pasting was too obvious, and I just didn't think of it.
Any ideas how to tackle the larger question; that is, how can I put any arbitrary Unicode character into a table (or just a page for that matter). For example, in MS's Word, I like to use, from the "WingDings" font, the black circle with white numbers on them. Assuming I could find the Unicode equivalent value, how could I (if it is even possible) to embed the Unicode value? I guess I am also asking so I can learn more how Unicode works with DocuWiki.
I did find the "
https://www.dokuwiki.org/entities" link, but in order to use its approach, I would have to be admin for our site, which I am not. I could work with the admin if that's the only route left to me, but I will use your simple/easy approach to handle the occasional character I would like to use.
