Subject: how to change table rendering?
What I would like to do is to increase the space between the text and the tbale boarders on the left and the right. Because Dokuwiki removes all spaces including these within nowiki tags this does not works for me. Apart from that, using nbsp for design purpose is not a very good thing to do. But it could be achiefed with the nbsp plugin.
I prefere to do iot a bit more genera for thw whole wiki page. I guess there is somewhere a ccs file arround where I can find this.
Can anybody give me a hint where I have to look for that?

Regards

Andreas

Change the padding for the th and td tags in design.css of your template:

/* inline tables */
div.dokuwiki table.inline {
  background-color: __background__;
  border-spacing: 0px;
  border-collapse: collapse;
}

div.dokuwiki table.inline th {
  padding: 3px;
  border: 1px solid __border__;
  background-color: __background_alt__;
}

div.dokuwiki table.inline td {
  padding: 3px;
  border: 1px solid __border__;
}

i added the following to the entities.conf
<topen>    <div class="level4"><table class="clean"><tr><td>
</tclose>    </td></tr></table></div><br>
<tcolumn>    </td><td>
<tnewline>    <tr><td>
</tcloseline>    </td></tr>
<tcolumntop>    </td><td valign="top">

and this to the default.css of my template
/* clean tables */
table.clean {
  background-color: #ffffff;
  border-spacing: 0px;
  border-collapse: collapse;
}

table.clean th {
  padding: 3px;
  border: 0px;
}

table.clean  td {
  padding: 3px;
  border: 0px;
}

works but is there another way to do it?
