Hello,
related to the plugin "FCKW".
the windows share links are somehow converted after saving the page. I'm not able to create a link to a folder/document within the network.
my steps:
use "link" function within editor
create windows share link with unc path
after "ok" it looks like it should
after ssaving the page it's converted to a "non-existing page link".
Can anybody help on this?
regards
Joe

Hi Joe,
i had the same problem a few days ago, here iys my solution.
go to the following directory in you dokuwiki installation
lib\plugins\fckw\js\fckeditor\editor\dialog\
and open fck_link.html file
around Line 50 you find the pulldown menu:
----------------------------------
<select id="cmbLinkProtocol">
<option value="/" selected="selected">wiki://</option>
<option value="http://">http://</option>
<option value="https://">https://</option>
<option value="ftp://">ftp://</option>
<!--<option value="\\">windows share2:\\</option>--> <-- old entry
<option value="file://localhost///">yourWindowsShare</option> <-- new entry
<option value="" fckLang="DlgLnkProtoOther"><other></option>
</select>
----------------------------------
It doesn't look nice, but it works fine in my case, but remember that
firefox still prevents you from opening links to windows share for security reason.
So you still have to copy and paste the link into a new tab/window.
Internet Explorer opens the link directly.
hope this helps.
kind regards.
jean-claude.
