Hi tbrand,
might it not be possible that the visibility of the breadcrumbs has indeed something to do with DokuWiki? I configured my wiki as a closed wiki and I found that after logging out, the breadcrumbs where still visible. Even after loading a fresh start page. The pages were not accessible though.
I believe the session might not be unset properly when hitting the log out button. I know from painful personal experience that unsetting a session does not really do the trick with php. All session contents usually needs to be set to an empty string. After I put this:
foreach($_SESSION as $k => $v){
$_SESSION[$k] = "";
unset($_SESSION[$k]);
}
session_unset();
here (auth.php):
function auth_logoff(){
...
$USERINFO=null; //FIXME
foreach($_SESSION as $k => $v){
$_SESSION[$k] = "";
unset($_SESSION[$k]);
}
session_unset();
setcookie(DOKU_COOKIE,'',time()-600000,DOKU_REL);
...
}
upon logging out and loading the start page anew the breadcrumbs where gone, as they should be.
I installed dokuwiki version 2008-05-05 on a wamp system and use a firefox 1.5., keeping all cookies till the end of the session.
Hope that helps other puzzled users out there.
Bye bye
