They should be documented on their corresponding plugin page. If not, ask their corresponding author to complete the documentation.
You can find out what plugins you have installed by either looking into your plugin manager (via the Admin button) or by looking at your wiki:syntax page. At the bottom of that page there are always all syntax plugins listed (with "~~INFO:syntaxplugins~~" in the code). Sometimes they even contain syntax examples.
