robert-its Hi there, I am new here and I just wonder whether there is an easier way to insert images. I am looking for a function to insert a picture during editing a wiki page without having to upload it first on the upload page. The user should have a button to do uploading *during* page editing. Do you have any suggestions for that, like an addon - or even another wiki featuring that (worst case)? Thanks in advance! Regards, Robert
andi Huh? First: you don't need to upload images, you can also use images on different servers. {{http://somserver.com/image.jpg}} Second, the media manager pops up while editing and you can upload an image while editing. Read http://dokuwiki.org/images
espiegel By the way, the workflow could be vastly improved -- especially for wikis that have lots of media -- if when uploading, there were a checkbox to "Automatically Insert Uploaded Images". I am finding that it is pretty cumbersome to upload files then have to find them in the list of files. Newbie posters find this especially cumbersome.
AnthonyLaurent Hello, is there a plug in to copy paste directly an image when editing page ? The way to put image is too long. Thanks
