Subject: Install Problem: "PHP function glob is not available"
After uploading the Dokuwiki files onto my hosted webspace, I ran install.php.  It gives me the following error:

PHP function glob is not available. Maybe your hosting provider disabled it for some reason?

It says I cannot continue until this is fixed.  Anyone have any ideas?  Permissions?  PHP version?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Just as it says, your host has disabled the function, you probably need to take it up with them.

Figured it out.  It turned out that different directories on my server were running different versions of PHP (the directory in question was 4.2 or so, too low a version to support the glob function.

Thanks for the help
