Subject: Customised default template css trouble
Hi,
I'm not a css expert and hoping someone here can help. I've spent hours trying to fix this display issue and it's driving me bonkers. I don't know what else to try or look for. I've not changed much of the css really except for adding my header, footer and adding a div wrap for background/margin.

It occurs in IE only, fine in Firefox. A couple of the elements above the fold are partially hidden either when the page first loads, or when you scroll down past the fold and then back up again, until you either click somewhere on the page or mouseover some of the hiding elements. This is the topbar background colour, and the TOC links.

I've attached an image showing the display problem. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

****long pause before posting****

I've now managed to find the right way to clear the float that seems to have fixed the topbar issue, so now I'm only struggling with the TOC.

I think what you are seeing there is the famous peekaboo bug of IE. Google for a few fixes. I usually fix by throwing "position:relative"'s in like mad ;-)
