Subject: Artic Template
Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone here is using Artic Template and if they are what are their experiences with it?

I have just upgraded to a new verson of dokuwiki and a new version of Artic template but there seem to be some glitches. When I go to the admin section in Dokuwiki its arse ways, its all squashed up stuff. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive used the?purge=true option to clear the cache but it seems to be displaying the same after some modifciations.

I am the author of the template and haven`t encountered the behaviour you describe above yet. Which version are you using (last one is 2006-10-31, there was a patch added to hide the sidebar in the admin section), which browser do you use? If you`ve set the __wiki_width__ in the style.ini to a too small value you run into a problem because the template doesn`t affect the styles of the admin/configuration/usermanager. Can you please send me a screenshot to chi[at]chimeric[dot]de?

Hey Micheal,

Its Dave, Ive sent you a screenshots. In FireFox 1.5.8 its all squished but in IE its completely off as if the top part of the admin section is in a seperate colum than the rest. I am using DokuWiki 2006-11-06 which is the latest stable release and 2006-10-31. I have the width set to 95% in the Style.ini file so Im all out of ideas as to why its happening.

Which IE version are you using. Here`s a screenshot with IE6 [1] I just took. Did you empty your browser cache after upgrading?

Hmmm this is getting strange, I can`t reproduce this on a windows machine too. Did you modify other parts of the CSS, or tried a fresh install of the template?

Nope no modifications other than minor ones in the Style.ini. From the archive can you see the issues with the layout?

Yep, I see it - but - I tested it with IE6 on Linux and today with IE6 on windows and it looks fine. Can you send me the template as an archive?

Ok, now it becomes clear. The template in the archive is not 2006-10-31! It`s the 2006-05-21 version. Maybe you`ve accidently downloaded the wrong one. Just use this one [1].
