Subject: nice URL
Hi there,

my homepage is hostet via 1und1.de. As I know they do not support the re-write mode for htaccess.
Is there any other possibility to make nice URLs?

You can configure dokuwiki to rewrite the urls internally without htaccess.

See http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki%3Aconfig#userewrite, Option 2.

Maybe you ran into the same problem then myself:
Option 2 doesn’t seem to work in combination with IIS. The bug is filed.

But your Server runs Apache!? Or are we talking about a different Server?

$> lynx -head -dump http://www.sudoku.agilo-akademie.de/
HTTP/1.1 302
Date: Mon, 22 May 2006 11:58:54 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.2
Location: doku.php
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html
