I have a dokuwiki on my mac in localhost. It's been running fine until last night, when I upgraded from Leopard (MacOS10.5) to Snow Leopard (MacOS10.6). On opening the dokuwiki I reach the "Permission denied" page, and I can't login; my password is rejected. I tried the "Send new password" and nothing has arrived.
There doesn't seem to have been any problem in the dokuwiki files, they're all there and as far as I can see permissions are all correct.
Has anyone else seen this? Any thoughts about what might be going on?
A few thoughts, which may be relevant or which have nothing to do with this --
(1) Snow Leopard updated php from 5.1 to 5.3.0.
(2) The httpd.conf file gets reverted to factory default, and I had to edit it to enable apache. The phpmodule is enabled. Is anything else needed for password authentication?
(3) Obviously I have access to the conf/users.auth.php files and so on -- is there anything I can look for there, or edit, to make it accept my password?
(4) Regarding the lack of a response to the "Send new password" request -- I am pretty sure I used this before and it worked -- do I need to enable anything for dokuwiki to be able to send mail?
