Hello,
Bad behavour of "Citavi" Plugin for Firefox, with DokuWiki.
http://www.citavi.de/en/index.html
http://www.citavi.de/de/download/picker_firefox.html
DESCRIPTION OF THE SOFTWARE:
Its a german product, very popular at universities. You can manage booklists and export the lists in proper formats for your master/bachelor thesis or newsmagazine articles.
So in general, the plugin modifies the displayed HTML code, so that after each book ISBN number, there is a "citavi picker" symbol included. By this, you can easily "pick" ISBN numbers to the citavi database.
PROBLEM:
The problem is, if you edit a page with DokuWii, all looks normal.
But while saving a page, Citavi does the HTML manipulation too.
So after saving a page with an number recognized as ISBN, there is some HTML Javascript code included in the DokuWiki code...
WORKAROUND:
Of course, its easy to switch off the picker plugin function, by using the menu available when clicking on the red citavi symbol at the bottom of the Firefox browser window.
EXAMPLE:
ISBN 1-57521-006-1
looks after saving like this, not just in my DokuWiki, but the replacement is done also in this forum too. I assume that this bug is not important for any other application, as usually you don´t write ISBN numbers in forums with forum editors....
ISBN 1-57521-006-1 <a href="javascript:Pick it!ISBN: 1-57521-006-1"><img style="border: 0px none ;" src="http://www.citavi.com/softlink?linkid=FindIt" alt="Pick It!" title='Titel anhand dieser ISBN in Citavi-Projekt übernehmen'></a>
Sincerely
Rolf
