Hello folks,
I've been successfully using dokuwiki for a couple of years on a debian server (etch, lenny) with no trouble. I have two accounts setup (a user and an admin) which are exclusively granted write rights, default ACL is read only.
Tried to upgrade to dokuwiki-2009-02-14b.tgz following the site procedure, but when I upgrade I lose both logins. Specifically when I click on the login menu link in the sidebar I get the login screen with login form, but when I submit the login form I get silently thrown back to the non-logged page (with the initial login link where I should be seing logout, update profile, admin links). No edit button either. I have for now reverted to the previous version (DokuWiki Release 2008-05-05, logins do work as expected there as they had been for 2 years).
It is quite hard to diagnose the problem since there is no dokuwiki message/warning or error page popping up. I have seen nothing abnormal (no error state) in the apache2 logs but I could be missing something more subtle.
Server configuration specifics:
- apache2 / standalone debian lenny
- I am using URL rewrite (
http://www.dokuwiki.org/rewrite) with rewrite rules through apache2 configuration files
- I have enabled ssl for login pages and use rewrite rules for https redirection
- these rules work with DokuWiki Release 2008-05-05.
- I have recently upgraded from Debian etch to lenny but this didn't break any functionality for my initial DokuWiki (Release 2008-05-05) page.
- php5/libapache2-mod-php5 version is 5.2.6.dfsg.1-1+lenny3
- apache2 version 2.2.9-10+lenny4
Thanks for any help or hint to help diagnose the problem!
