Hi All,
All images are not showing in my dokuwiki, can't found the reasons so far.
Only a "X" image is showing.
Also, i can't view the image in mediabrowser, but the image can be uploaded to web server.
Can anyone give me some clues to solve this problem?
xavierkkwu
Hi All,
I found that the cause was AD authen.
Could anyone tell me any other settings such as ACL to get back my pics?
Thanks very much.
chi
How did you upload the puctures?
xavierkkwu
just use the media explorer.
chi
Okay, then make sure your authenticated and the permissions are correct. You can append ?do=check to the URL of your wiki to see if you're authenticated and to which groups you belong. Then check if the permission settings (ACL) are correct (
http://dokuwiki.org/acl).
xavierkkwu
The ACL is correct, otherwise, i can't even login the site.
Also, I am able to creat post on pages. Just can't see the images.
When I change back to not using AD auth, images are back, I am guessing could be ACL issues, but don't know where i can config or check.
Thanks for your prompt reply.

Please do as I said and check which groups you're assigned to when you're logged in.
xavierkkwu
I belongs to a couple of groups. I have added a group to super user which allows me to do configuration.
However, even I login with superuse, still cannot see the images.
Results as follow.
Your current permission for this page is 255
The current page is writable by the webserver
The current page is writable by you

And the groups? Do they match the ACLs?
xavierkkwu
They matches the group. Otherwise, I can't login and can't even do the admin configuration.

Wrong, you can setup ACLs in a way that you are able to login but cannot see images from a certain namespace. Without having seen your ACLs and the full auth information I'm unable to help you... ... ...

Hi Xavier, Did you change the image's size recently?
I had the same problem.
Just change the syntax to show the image.
I mean, i had the syntax : {{wiki:image.jpg?400}}
When I change the syntax for: {{wiki:image.jpg}} , i lost the image.
Try it,

Carmen

I have a ACL with one of my group in * namespace.
Do i have to add it one by one?

I haven't resized my image. Just change the auth backend only.
This trick does't work for me.
Thanks for your help.

In my case.
My ACL looks like this.
I am a member of Domain Group_A.
Current ACL Rules
* @ALL None
* @Group_A Delete
* @Group_B Delete
Pics are not showing up even when I am selecting them from media browser.
I agree that shd be some sort of permission issues. But I dont' have any ideas on which part of permission.
Thanks very much.

I give up. You don't provide the information I ask for, thus, I cannot help.
xavierkkwu
Sorry. This is the set up i am having
I am a member of Domain Group_A. (This Domain Group A is one of the groups that showed when i ran do=check)
Current ACL Rules
* @ALL None
* @Group_A Delete
* @Group_B Delete

If those are the "actual" ACL rules then they're wrong, you have to use the numeric equivalents described at
http://dokuwiki.org. Try:
* @ALL 0
* @Group_A 16
* @Group_B 16

If however, that's what you already have (and didn't write) - then check a group name without "_". Maybe there's something going wrong there in the auth backend.
