Hi
I am a new DokuWiki user and I am curious if anyone has implemented DokuWiki in a way im about to explain...
I want each user to have a portable Apache/PHP application on their machines/usb drives. httpd.conf is set up so that it's looking for files on a network drive for example \\10.0.0.4\it\documentation\wiki
So far this is easy enough to implement.
My question is: Is it possible to have DokuWiki encrypt the data files so that people who open the individual files would not be able to see the content. I'm not looking for military class encryption or security, just a something that will discourage people from viewing the data files directly.
Putting up a apache on any of the servers is not an option, the web server would have to run on the individual machines.
Another option would be to enclose the entire dokuwiki installation in a virtual volume such as truecrypt, but then I would need Apache to access this file, and how to do that might be out of the scope of this forum...
I really appreciate any help given... If you have any similar experiences or any ideas at all, I would be very happy to hear them.
