Hello folks;
I'm new to this forum and have a question.
i have 2 servers running the same version of Dokuwiki as one primary and the other is the backup. i run rsync daily to sync the main to the backup so both be up-to-date. I have the backup as read only.
This morning one user added a link with a page to the main Wiki site, then i ran rsync. i see the new page on the both servers the main and the back up when i log in to both of them and i see the new page on the main Wiki server web page but the backup Wiki won't update and i couldn't see the new page on it.
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks in advance :rolleyes:

I have kind of the same problem:
We have an old server running DokuWiki and want to migrate the Wiki to another, more powerful server now, which we already set up. As we're migrating everything anyway, we also planned to rebuild the navigation: The contents shall still be the same, but the pages are moved to other places/folders on the server.
When I now set up links in DokuWiki and then move the *.txt files there from command prompt, the changes don't take effect.
Example: I create a new page "Administration" with contents "whatever" (just typing aaa or something in the editor then save the page) to create the the administration.txt file and then replace that file with the original contents, of course maintaining the original file name. No matter what I am doing, the page always shows "whatever" (aaa) in DokuWiki instead of the real content.
Clearing browser cache or using a different browser, accessing the Wiki from another client all don't work. I assume it's got something to do with the indexing of the Wiki, but I cannot find any setting where to change those values?
