Okay, I know this is like asking for hot ice-cream or a cheese burger, hold the cheese, but I'm not crazy. Honest.
I'm teaching an introductory course on markup for non-technical users and we're going to be developing a simple web site, collaboratively. I want to use Dokuwiki for this collaborative site, because I love DW's simple approach to creating new pages, applying consistent styles, user management, etc. (I also don't want to have to teach them about any client-side editors.)
The problem is that the course is specifically about HTML and CSS basics - not about wiki markup - delving into wiki syntax is just going to add unnecessary complexity and confuse them. So I've enabled HTML for all users and now I need a way to turn off wiki syntax for the students. Essentially, I just want to turn off the parser and render the page contents unmodified.
Is there an elegant way to do this?
