rpschmitz I recently installed a Seagate NAS 110 drive and it came with a WIKI server. It uses DukuWiki. Seagate documentation is very limited and support is nil. Their docmentation states: "The wiki server is a local Web site on the BlackArmor server that is available to BlackArmor users, and is used for information sharing and collaboration. Once enabled, all BlackArmor users have access to this site." I'd like to do a number of things with this WIKI to make it useful. First I'd like to upgrade it to the latest version but not sure it's possible. I see in the NAS manager that the wiki server is read only and under security in the folder properties permissions for Everyone is set to Special Permissions so I can't add or delete any folders or files. Second I'd like to make it accessible from my website by pointing to it thru a subdomain. But first I need to know with I'm stuck with this version or if I can upgrade it, and how. Thanks in advance.
rpschmitz Thanks, I'll give it a try although I don't think I'll be able to get by those "special permissions" for the wiki server share on the NAS drive (the owner is "root (Unix User\root)" and I can't change it . If I can get it updated great, if not I may set up a new share and install the latest version there.
valentino Same problem here.. I bought a 4 Bay NAS that comes with DokuWiki. I use the NAS interface to manage it on a MAC and can get to the files to overide them and update DokuWiki. Any help would be very apreciated.
