Subject: Don't get it: background-images in design.css
Hi all

I am trying to customize a dokuwiki template. I copied everything to a new folder and adapted main.php, layout.css and design.css (rest is not needed). Everything works fine - except one tiny little detail:
I have some kind of tab-navigation, quite fancy and complicated. It basically works with background-images. While these images work on static pages, they don't in the dokuwiki - they are just not displayed. The rest of the stylesheet is applied. Here are some code snippets:

design.css
#home {
  background:url("images/web2.0/tablefthome.gif") no-repeat left top;
}

#home span {
  background:url("images/web2.0/tabrighthome.gif") no-repeat right top;
  color : #f0f0f0;
}

And in main.php:
  <li><a href="../index.html" title="Home" id="home"><span>home</span></a></li>

I am really desparated :(

The images are within the directory /path-to-wiki/lib/tpl/my-template-name/images/web2.0, if anyone asks...

Thanks for any hints

There might be a bug in the CSS dispatcher. You should disable the CSS/JavaScript compression in the config, then check the output of /lib/exe/css.php if the location to your background is correct.

Thanks - the lib/exe/css.php trick helped a lot; there was a quotation mark too much - after removing this, it works fine.
