Hi,
Thanks for the encouragement. Yep, you nailed it, I'm feeling frustrated! But I have made a commitment to making progress.
I'm checking out the dokuwiki on a stick. Looks interesting, might give me some insight on this.
As for the new sections, I'm not trying to achieve new sections on a page.
The situation I've inherited has an initial page with a Site Map section on one side. This makes for ease of navigation and I appreciate that.
There were already 3 main sections and if you are within one of them and create a new page it hangs from that section.
I want to create a new section for my new initiative with all of this new documentation. I'm being forced to put it under an existing section because I can't figure out how to create a new section.
Each "section" has a url like:
http://internalIPaddress/sectionname:start
In each case "start" is literally what is there.
Each page beneath that section has a url like:
http://internalIPaddress/sectionname:pagename
In these examples internalIPaddress, sectionname and pagename are substitutes.
If you know how to create a new "start" page for a section, or where I could look for that info, or what it is properly called so that I can search better,.... I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for the feedback!
