I used the code snippet from
http://www.dokuwiki.org/security#deny_directory_access_in_nginx and when I browse to
http://myserver.tld/data/pages/wiki/dokuwiki.txt NGINX blocks the attempt, as expected, with a server 404 error.
However, when I browse to the admin section of my DokuWiki, the security.png image can still be seen. I can even browse to
http://myserver.tld/data/security.png and see the image.
I tried changing the file permissions on the /data directory from 644 to 640 and then 600 to no avail. I even cleared my browser's cache...still no change.
I'm looking for some advice as I'm a little confused...I can't reach one file (the text file) but the security image can still be reached? Is there something that needs to be changed to the location block?
Thanks!
