Subject: multiuser voting/rating
I need to make an "ideas" page with a way for authenticated users to post ideas (that's easy) and to vote on or rate the ideas.

The hard part is the voting, though. This isn't a poll, either in presentation or in the way it's conducted, so the plugins http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:vote and http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:poll and http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:doodle2 aren't appropriate.

What I want is something like this: there is a list of items submitted by different users, and each item has a tag that defines it as votable. What I would like to do is allow authenticated users to vote/rate multiple items (possibly changing their vote later), and have another view of the items that shows them in order of "best" to "worst", where best is either the total # of votes or average rating.

The way CodeProject (http://www.codeproject.com/) handles starring of items would suffice for my purposes.

If you may want you could have a look on a rate/vote plugin.
There is room for improvements but I want to know if there are forum members interested into this.

I am also looking for the exact same type of feature. I want to introduce a feedback/ideas/suggestion scheme at the organisation I work for and allow colleagues to come up with ideas but also force them to actually decide what the most important thiings are to them via voting.

Easiest way would be a table with ideas/suggestion and put the rater at the first or last column.
You can find examples on: http://www.fristercons.de/fcon/doku.…?id=rater:example#v…
