Greetings:
I was previously using a prior version of DokuWiki on my ISP and I decided to upgrade to 2006-11-06. When I upload it to my ISP and then surf to install.php, I get the (expected) bullet list for the file permissions that need to be changed, but there's no text there... just the seven or so bullets. If I look at the HTML source it is in fact an unordered list with a bunch of empty list elements.
If I correct the file permissions and click on Retry (or Refresh or whatever...), install.php then gives me an error message:
in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in install.php on line 363
This strange behavior happened when I uploaded from a Mac using Fetch. Suspicious that some files got garbled during upload, I tried it from a Linux box using gFTP... and got the same result. Then I tried installing from the Linux box to the OS X box, and it worked fine.
Can anyone explain what it is about my ISP that causes this behavior?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
