Hi,
i'm looking for a template where the header- and footer-part is fixed, so page scrolling is done only for the page-content itself.
Or can i include this behaviour in the default template somehow?

In main.php, you'll find the following DIV:
<div class="page">
</div>
You can set that to a fixed size with auto overflow:
<div class="page" style="height:400px; overflow:auto;">
This is in the standard template. You might want instead to create a file named style.css, place it in the defaul template directory and add the css there:
div.page {
height:400px;
overflow:auto;
}
You will have to exmperiment with the height. Whenever the page height exceeds the height value you will get scrollbars in an inner window. If the height value is too large, then you will also get scrollbars in the main browser window.

Good tip! But it seems to work with fixed 'height' values only and if all browsers using the same windowsize, which they don't.
How can i adapt the browser window height with it?
I'm not a CSS-geek but is it possible to make header=fixed height, footer=fixed height and let page be 100% between them? This may fix it.

You would have to use Javascript for that. Find the browser dimensions and then create a size for the page div that fits your requirements.
