hi, new user here, and i tried to do a search but couldn't find an answer i could understand.
i've experimented with the "namespace template" feature (ie, _template.txt) and I have a question on that feature's fit for my wiki.
if i want, just for illustrative purposes, to build a address book with lots of data entries that are continuously being updated AND a pretty page namespace template to display the info to my users. If I frequently update the _template.txt file, is there a way to backwards update the templated views? Or should i be using a completely different process for this?
i realize this sounds a lot like database-driven dynamic webpage, but the point is that i need it to be collaborative-based and encourage users to add/update/edit info to a wiki (and not a database).
thanks for any help!

I afraid the short answer is no.
There are some different ways to use templates, but they all creates a copy of their content when a new page is created. There
is none that I'm aware of, that have an active link to the template.
Another way is to use the plugin:data, but even that one doesn't update pages once created. Unless you write your own syntax plugin (combined with plugin:sqlite) to create what you want.
