Subject: apache like default handling of namespaces? wiki/namespace -> wiki/namespace/start
Hey folks,

We've just "soft launched" our wikified "Time To Get Online" internet training manual, and one problem I have not been able to resolve is how to set it up so that urls like this work correctly:

http://www.kabissa.org/wiki/ttgo
http://www.kabissa.org/wiki/ttgo/

ttgo is a namespace, and going to those URLs should open up the start page here:

http://www.kabissa.org/wiki/ttgo/start

Unfortunately they do not - it appears to attempt to open a page called ttgo in the root namespace for both of the above examples. I know I'm looking for something like apache default handling of urls, e.g. that looks automatically for index.html and displays it if it exists in the URL's directory.

Would be most grateful for advice -

Cheers,

Tobias

Hi Andi -

Thanks for letting me know. I went to look at the devel code and maybe download a snapshot, but am having difficulty seeing what the roadmap is or how stable it is. Where should I be looking for that information? Or is this a classically useless and excessively annoying question?

Thanks much for all you are doing -

Tobias

Hehe, probably. The devel version is "pretty stable" and is usually used at wiki.splitbrain.org (I don't sync everyday so this isn't always true).
