Subject: iFIXIT style design
Hi guys,

is there anyway to use dokuwiki like in http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing-iPhone-4-Front-Faci… like ifixit style formatting.

ifixit uses http://www.dozuki.com/ if any style is found it will a lot of online documentation easier using dokuwiki.

Sofar I know this kind of plugin is not yet available.

I agree it is a nice feature.

If someone like to build it, I think it is useful to have a look at the syntax usage of the S5 plugin. This plugin creates from a normal wiki page a presentation, that could be started in your browser. It uses heading H1 as first slide, and subsequent H2 headings as subsequent slides in the presentation. https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:s5

I guess a similar approach is possible for the ifixit styled step-by-step manual style.

Not sure how much work it is to build. If someone like to do styling/css coding, than I will think about doing work on the setup of this plugin.
In that case I prefer to start simple. So I have a question: could you sketch what is, in your view,  the most simple version of this step-by-step manual view?

Hmm. I'm still puzzling howto perform this technically..
Normal wiki syntax fits for my feeling very naturally in this function.
Now I have to come up with the correct technical approach in the renderer for performing for each section (started with a H2 heading) a little reshuffling of images and the bullet points into a guide.

Trying at this wiki page with default syntax doesn't succeed sofar:
- images align fine to the left, but in that case the sublists are not displayed beside the image. Too long sublist jump below image.
- images align to the right, but float beside the headings. So not well aligned. Sublists ok.
- images centered are useless, text is only below. sublists ok.
