hutchwilco We have recently upgraded to Release 2012-10-13 "Adora Belle", and much prefer the dokuwiki template (as is shown on dokuwiki.org). However, we really liked the "tab" style implementation of a "discussion" page that was part of the Vector template we used previously. This style implemented a tab you could click which created a new discussion page associated with the topic page. Very simple and kept the two page types separate but closely associated. The only real discussion plugin alternative appears to be "inline" on the topic/page which is not suitable. I am imagining use of the floating toolbar as the perfect place for a "Discuss" button/option (underneath Edit, Backlinks, Go to Top etc), that allows you to enter a discussion page for that topic. Something like the attached mockup image. Can anyone point out one that I have missed (considerable time searching)? It should be said that our wiki is intranet only, so options such as disqus are not possible.
ach The Starter template also includes the function _tpl_discussion()[/m] in its [m]tpl_functions.php[/m]. You can simply use [m]<?php _tpl_discussion('talk:@ID@', 'Discussion', 'Back', 1) ?> to do (nearly) the same.
hansbkk Wow, glad I caught this! Maybe it will solve my problem here http://forum.dokuwiki.org/thread/8996? Any ideas if this plugin would have any problems with IndexMenu (family, tIndexMenu?) as Discussion plugin apparently does?
