I've recently discovered DokuWiki and it's a super great tool! I'm using it to put all the knowledge together that I need at work, because information is scattered around many places. DokuWiki helps me to organize things.
I find a good Search very important and the ease of using it.
Things that would love to see in the future? Well, a few entensions to the current standard markup (colors, highlighting, lists in tables etc.) I know, these are available as plugin, but it was better if it was added as a standard.
I've written a vba macro to export mail(s) from Outlook to a plain text file. So I can search on my important mails through DokuWiki.
The save also adds a header to the file, containing a unique ID and other info. After such a save, also a 'DokuWIki' link is added to the clipboard, which I can then paste in a page. Additionally I've put an html page with vbscript & javascript together that's able to open the original mail item in outlook with the click on a link...
Anyway.... BIG sincere THANKS to all developers involved in creating DokuWIki and make life easier!
