tomcraw00 I get broken links to the files in the filebrowser. It is bizarre because it is reading the directory correctly but won't show a thumbnail. Additionally, selecting an image puts the wrong prefix into the link, and I need to shorten it to get it to work. Attached a screenshot of the filebrowser
tomcraw00 screenshot of image properties On this screen I need the link: /docs/web/group/pte/wiki/lib/plugins/ckgedit/fckeditor/userfiles/image/2poleequation.gif to be shortened to this to work: /pte/wiki/lib/plugins/ckgedit/fckeditor/userfiles/image/2poleequation.gif Obviously we can do it manually but if you could give some direction on how to modify the base directory just for the image links that would help. I played around with the config.php file in the filebrowser source and if I change the root then it doesn't read the directory at all.
tomcraw00 thanks, found the answer here: http://www.mturner.org/fckgLite/doku.php?id=file_browser_install combination of opening up permissions (it is intranet only) and setting the right relative path in the config.php file
turnermm Glad that you could solve the problem. But you shouldn't normally have to d anything special to install the plugin. I've tried to make the install process automatic and as painless as possible. So, for my own information, I'd appreciate knowing the details of your server. Is it standard linux, debian, . . ? It doesn't appear to be a Windows server. And are you using apache? Thanks.
wartock Hi, I'm also having the exact same issue with my images in the file manager. The file location URL is good, however the thumbnail is messed up. In the Image properties window, once I selected the image with the broken thumbnail I get the whole path: /var/www/server01/dokuwiki/lib/plugins/ckgedit/fckeditor/userfiles/image/ki/original.png However when I remove part of the path the image is viewed properly and I'm able to paste it into a page: dokuwiki/lib/plugins/ckgedit/fckeditor/userfiles/image/ki/original.png Currently I'm using the following: - Mac with Yosemite - Same results with lastest versions of Chrome and Safari - ckgedit (Installed version: 2015-02-21) - DokuWiki (Release 2014-09-29c "Hrun") - Installed on Ubuntu Server (14.04.2 LTS) - Apache2 (2.4.7) - PHP5 (PHP 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.6) // David
turnermm This can happen if your relative url cannot be properly detected, which is why the previous user found the solution in the documentation (see the earlier post). On a Mac with Snow Leopard, using a standard install of Dokuwiki, using hrun and the latest ckgedit, I had no problems, and really wouldn't have expected to, unless something has changed in Yosemite. So, like the previuos user, you might also look into manually setting up the relative url.
wartock I just found another thread suggesting the option "plugin»ckgedit»winstyle" - http://www.mturner.org/fckgLite/doku.php?id=configuration#conf_24 Worked like a charm and no editing the configuration files themselves. Thanks :)
