Hi pop,
Hi michaelsy,
i tried now to make a small how to step list, which describe, how to reproduce the problem.
During this, i found out, that i did the installation in a wrong way!
The key point in this installation with the docker container lscr.io/linuxserver/dokuwiki is following:
- After the first execution of the docker container, and the setup with the Browser in the page "localhost/install.php" you have to shut down the docker container first, and start it again new.
With this activity, they do some internal topics like moving the (inside docker container) plugin directory to the docker host, and link them to the inside folder via symlink.
This has the benefit, that the whole plugin folder is made available via a shared volume on the docker host machine, which makes it again easy for developing and installing plugins from outside the docker container (on the host machine).
So for me it seems with this technique they did, the issue https://github.com/splitbrain/dokuwiki/issues/791 is already solvable with the current DokuWiki architecture.
If you want to know more how they did it you can find the implementation here: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-dokuwiki/blob/master/root/etc/cont-init.d/50-config
For me it seems now to work, after i made the installation correct. The great thing about the linuxserver implementation for me is that this docker container is availabe for amd-64bit, arm-32bit and arm 64-bit architectures.
So with this i can run and sync the same Dokuwiki on my Windows Laptop, and on a Raspberry PI 4 Hardware which has a arm architecture.
Thanks for the help, it seems to me that my problem is now solved.
All the best,
Bobby
