Is it possible to upgrade directly from Elenor of Tsort to Hogfather? Or do I have to do the upgrade incrementally. For instance Elenor of Tsort -> Frusterick Manners -> Greebo -> Hogfather
Note: I do not want to use the upgrade plugin
A direct upgrade should be fine. Just make sure you remove the obsolete files.

Before the upgrade you should also deactivate all self-installed plugins and gradually update and activate them after the upgrade. The same with the template.
