Full images shows as cropped in Media Manager

Okay, this is my second strange symptom in Media Manager lately.

For example, see the "Domain whitelist" on this FreshTomato page:

Here's how the same image displays in Media Manager

If I download it from Media Manager and save it to my local machine, it displays the same way-cropped.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

There is indeed an image under https://wiki.freshtomato.org/doku.php/advanced-adblock#domain_whitelist. It's name is 20230425-145820.png. However, it's not the image shown in your media manager.
Try as I might, all my attempts to download that image using the media manager will download the file in the proper size and resolution.

Consider that the image link relates to the ...pasted...namespace.

Here it seems to work well. The image I can "download" from the mediamanager is not cropped.

Okay, I"m not sure I understand everything you wrote, but I do understand that I screwed up and the filename should have been 20230425-145820.png .

When I try to retrieve that in Media Manager, here's what Media Manager looks like:

So yes, wrong image, but this is the right one, and it appears to be cropped in my browser.

I fixed the link in your post so that the image is shown.

The media manager shows a preview of your image. If you use the browser's functions to download the preview, it's the preview of the image the browser will download. If you want to download the actual uncropped image at its true size you have to open the image with the media manager and then use the media manager's function to download the complete image.

BTW, I have explained step by step how to do links here in the forum. Image links are made exactly the same way except for the leading exclamation mark (!).
To be sure, this forum uses another syntax for formatting as DokuWiki. The forum is not run on DokuWiki but on Flarum, which is another software product.

I've noticed another similar problem. I'm resizing images in Media Manager. After I resize them, they are cropped. Do you have any idea what is going on here? Resizing is obviously not the same as cropping, and all I'm doing is changing the numbers in the Dimensions fields. That IS supposed to be resizing, isn't it?

I think what is confusing here is, that the term "Resizing" is used for what actually should be called "Scaling". (At least that seems to be expected.)

Sorry, this is a bit more complicated than I'd thought. It's within the "Link Configuration" menu.

Just did it again and it cropped another image.

We can not log into your wiki. This might be the reason why we can not see this. I can click on many pictures in your wiki but never get this particular window.
The screenshot you wanted to present is not particularly useful because it does not show the title bar where we could, perhaps, see what produced this image.

On another note: The link in your post fails to work. In another thread you claimed you were unable to learn how to apply formatting to your content. This is not true. You learned one way for coding links. It just happens that you learned the wrong way. You do it every time that way. Linking does not work this way. I described in great detail how to do links here in this forum. I also fixed one link for you here in this thread. I encourage you to look at the fixed link. It's the link which shows an image instead of the URL.

I think, what you showed is the output of a plugin of dokuwiki, but not the mediamanager itself. If I am right, what plugin is used?

Could it be a function from ProseMirror's graphical editor?

It's the "Media Configuration menu/dialog box.
Is that a dokuwiki or ProseMirror function?
